In the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic Carousel, the lights come up to the strains of the "Carousel Waltz" at an amusement park in a New England town in 1873. Fishermen, sailors, mill girls and children are enjoying the sights and sounds of the carnival atmosphere. Naïve millworker Julie Jordan meets the carefree, swaggering carnival barker Billy Bigelow and they are swept into a story of love and loyalty, bad choices and betrayal and ultimately redemption and hope. Rogers and Hammerstein's luscious score (their personal favorite) includes "If I Loved You", "June is Bustin' Out All Over", and "You'll Never Walk Alone". Carousel is a thrilling, heartfelt testament to the redeeming power of love.

Wonder of the World is David Lindsay-Abaire's hilarious tale of a housewife who has a nice, comfortable life and a nice, comfortable relationship until she learns a shocking secret about her staid husband. Seizing this opportunity to throw herself back into life headfirst, Cass the housewife hops a bus to Niagara Falls with her list of life goals firmly in hand and begins a journey of self-discovery that has her crossing paths with a blithely suicidal alcoholic, a lonely tour-boat captain, and a pair of bickering private detectives, all of which push her perilously close to the water's edge. Wonder of the World is a crazy comedy where unfathomably insane things happen and people's lives are suddenly and inexplicably changed forever.

This high energy farce is set in 1934 as the world famous tenor Tito Morelli, better known as "Il Stupendo", is about to perform "Otello" at the season opener of the Cleveland Grand Opera. Through a series of mishaps, the evening speeds into absurdity when Il Stupendo passes out from a tranquilizer and the plot twists and turns as the company tries to cover up the fact that their mega-star won't be singing. A three-time Tony winner, Lend Me A Tenor is replete with mistaken identity, plot twists and double entendres that will leave you teary-eyed with laughter.

Two aging widows, Fannie and Tess, are pushed from NYC to live in a Las Vegas retirement condo by their daughters. Wearing frumpy clothes and rolled up stockings, these ladies are not happy about their new digs in the retirement village, even if they can spot "Julio Iglesias' mother's house" when standing on their tiptoes. But that all changes when the two cross paths with the charming scoundrel, Johnny Paolucci, who rocks both their worlds. Fanny and Tess undergo a grand metamorphosis - from being two, baggy, grey-haired old biddies, into a pair of glam-rock golden girls. Bermuda Avenue Triangle blends heart and humor and proves that there is life after 65!

A delightful excursion from our usual fare of plays and musicals, the Players present this festive Christmas themed show complete with classic Christmas songs and carols mixed with original material for a unique Christmas event to be enjoyed by the whole family.
