can get the girl next door to marry Hero. Unfortunately, the girl
has been promised to a war hero and cannot break out of that promise,
even though she loves Hero. Pseudolus then sets up a series of
schemes, mistaken identities, and misadventures, all in the name
of true love. A beloved musical farce.

Attractive young bride Mavis shoots
her husband Edgar for his money and leaves the body in a secret
basement room. What she doesn't know is that the gun was loaded
with blanks and that there is a secret exit from the secret room.
So when the police investigate Edgar's disappearance, Mavis is
kept hopping, making up lies to explain it. Add Mavis's affair
with one of the characters and the unexpected arrival of her new
stepdaughter and her fiance, and the pace is madcap. A funny mystery
farce.

from Duke Senior, banishing him and his daughter, Rosalind, to
the Arden Forest. Before they leave, Rosalind falls in love with
Orlando. Orlando, in fear for his life, flees to Arden too, but
to another part of the Forest. Rosalind is hiding as a man, Ganymede,
and in this guise talks to Orlando about his love for her. In
the meantime, a number of love subplots are occurring, and all
resolves when Duke Frederick is converted to goodness and welcomes
everyone home.
